Sorry folks for the lack of updates, I’ve been very busy working on mixing model shoots with 3d environments and should have some new content to share soon !

I had a FANTASTIC shoot with Melissa in the mean time, here is a single picture …. but have sooooo many more good shots with her – be patient

Probably the strongest edit from the series. I want to do something similar with people covered with tattoos !

Edgy, gritty, strong … that’s how I want my sport(wo)men portraits to be.

I’m working on an upcoming series called trashy fashion, very much in a Terry Richardson style. Kerstin was kind enough to accept to join my studio for a couple of tests and we did 3 series. Here is the first one. I’m testing the light, which should not look too good, and the colouring which may very well end up been simpler.

I’m looking for models that would be up to shoot the real series, but read carefully the requirements as it will need to be a zillion times wilder !

I have shot Ilena several times now, my favorite picture from her has been for my colorful fashion series. You can see that picture at the bottom of this post.

But today we went for some black and white nudes, had some great classic poses but I asked her if she could pull ‘that’ pose that is so incredibly hard to take. I did not have time to finish my sentence and here she was, with the perfect pose. I guess it won’t be to everyone’s taste – but as far as I’m concerned it works. You may want to give it a try once, and you’ll see how tough it is to make this look good – so all credits to the model.

Fort the record, there is absolutely no photoshop on this picture, aside for the black and white effect.

I wished we had some crazy shoes with us today, but this was all improvised and we had to do with a simple design.

I’m a mood for black and white !

Lotte has an intensity in this picture which makes it one of my favourite of the moment.

Modern fashion is often about roughness and complex light or image manipulation, and I love it.

That said, a bit of natural light and a simple black and white is still great. So here is one of them.

I could actually shoot a bit more of those, so if you are a slim model than can travel to my studio in Amsterdam let me know !

WARNING: I got scammed by a Dutch model agency. Had a casting in my studio and never got paid, neither did the models or the rest of the staff. It’s not the first time someone does not pay an invoice they owe me and I normally keep it to myself. But here it seems it’s been going on with other poeple for …. years ! Same person moving around.
